History

With it's very lengthy history, dating back to the 14th century, Terrazzo has secured it’s place as a hard surface finish in the construction and building industry. With the development of polymer technology ( epoxies, acrylics and latex) the new hybrid terrazzo has became a thinner, stronger and more flexible finish than its predecessor.

Stonecoat’s existing terrazzo system was developed more than 15 years ago in the Boston area to solve the problems of concrete in severe weather conditions, high traffic and low maintenance requirement areas.

With all our applicators factory trained, we are proud to say we have never had a system failure in over 16 years even in the coldest of climates.
